Autumn Greetings!

Hello, Autumn Greetings!  Thank you for visiting. I hope you are well and staying safe in these ongoing challenging times.

One year ago on September 28th 2022, I made the video below. Little did I know that in just a few hours of doing so, I would lose everything when Hurricane Ian’s fierce winds blew our building’s roof off.  I lost everything, but thankfully made it out safely. Many people weren’t so lucky in Southwest Florida. It’s been over a year now and people are still struggling…many businesses are…

Happy New Year!

Thanks for visiting. It’s been a little while since I’ve posted a blog. With so many things going on in the world and then Florida being hit with a massive hurricane, it’s been quite the challenge.

I lost everything in Hurricane Ian and had to move. My home was uninhabitable and I was in survival mode for quite some time. I’m still catching up and it’s been baby steps really, but I’m getting there.

About a year ago I started to dabble in acrylic painting. I wanted something for my living room wall and I…

A True Hero …Dr. Vladimir ‘Zev’ Zelenko

When I learned of Dr. Zelenko’s passing in June, I felt it deeply. Dr. Zelenko was one of the few who inspired my own personal research during the pandemic.

Dr. Zelenko was a board-certified physician, scientist, and activist for medical rights who touched the lives of millions of people.

In March 2020, Dr. Zelenko was in the epicenter (NY) when coronavirus started spreading rapidly. He successfully treated thousands of Covid-19 patients with his regimen of Vitamin D, C, Zinc, azithromycin and

My Best Friend!

Hi, I just wanted to introduce my best friend forever. If you're like me and just love animals, especially dogs then you may find my story interesting :)

His name is PomPom. I adopted him about three months ago and he is just the sweetest little furbaby. They estimate him to be about a year and half to two years old. He’s a Pomeranian mix hence the name PomPom…I thought it was cute and fitting (and it’s unisex). He was found running so they didn’t have any information on him at the shelter.

I waited what

Freedom!! Praying for our Truckers/Our World

Thanks for visiting. I hope this New Year finds you well.

For me, the news of the Canadian Truckers (and others that have joined in) have brought me so much joy. I’m so proud of all the truckers and what they are doing. I have been praying for Canada along with other countries for so long it seems. I’ve been deeply concerned with the spreading of tyranny and knowing what their agenda is. When the Truckers came along, I was actually able to take a breath. It’s been so wonderful and amazing watching what

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays!

Hi, Seasons Greetings! thanks for visiting my page :)

It’s been a very difficult time around the world these past couple of years. My prayers go out to everyone during this most uncertain time. The good news though is that there seems to be an awakening taking place in our world (to the truth) and that is a great spirit lifter! I will write more about this in my next blog.

I posted a Christmas video and hope you take a peek. Please click the link below.

Freedom, Humanity and “Our God”

Thank you for visiting. I hope this day finds you well wherever you are.

Our world is in a very dark place right now. I was so hoping that things would get back to normal, but unfortunately we will never see normal again unless something drastic happens. So much damage has already been done. Just a few months ago, God opened my eyes to something and it changed me forever.

This is a difficult subject because many still are not awake and yet many others are, but are just in denial. I understand that…

Hwy 41 & Boots

Hi!  So, it looks like things are starting to relax a bit now with Covid…at least in Florida anyway.  I hope you are well and staying safe wherever you are. It’s been such a challenging year with the pandemic. But, it did give me some time to enjoy nature, get into some art projects and also to write some songs.

I wrote a song about my new chapter in life…it’s called Hwy 41. I just posted the video on Youtube…hope you’ll check it out.  It’s also on my Video tab here. Note: It was only done on my…

Shinrin-yoku (Forest bathing)

Hi there, thanks for visiting. Here we are a year into the pandemic; I hope you are doing well in this still challenging time.

I found the great outdoors calling me and into the wilderness I went.

I’ve been doing what’s called shirin-yoku. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a Japanese tradition… shinrin means forest and yoku means bath. It’s a nature bath (with clothes, lol).  It’s simply soaking in the forest atmosphere with all of your senses. It’s my Vitamin N (nature).

Being a new resident of…

Kathleen Cartwright Singer-Songwriter

Kathleen Cartwright, (aka Kate) is a gifted singer-songwriter whose singing versatility has captured the hearts of many listeners.  Unlike most artists, Kate's voice has the unique gift of shifting tones and styles enabling her to cross over into many genres.  Her songwriting always comes from her heart, which pours out in her captivating lyrics and music that has touched many.

In 2009 Kate released “Singing Angel.’ A song she wrote to bring comfort and healing to people who have lost loved ones. It was also designed to reduce stress producing a mind/body/spirit connection achieving calmness and inner peace.  In addition to writing the song and performing it, she also plays the keyboard in the instrumental ending of the song, which pulls listeners in transporting you to a place of peace and tranquility.

In 2010, Kate's " Singing Angel” music video followed winning her the prestigious Aegis Award.  Aegis Awards are the video industry's premier competition for peer recognition of outstanding video productions and non-network TV commercials.

Following her music video, Kate was contacted by 'Memorial Music Library,' in which they offered to include her 'Singing Angel' song in their vast library of amazing songs by talented artists.

Kate then went on to write and perform, “A Melody for You," a roadside memorial song. She then created a video for The Florida Department of Transportation in which they use to raise awareness today.

In 2011, Kate wrote "Hand in Mine."  This was a song she dedicated to her daughter, but also for any parent that has been blessed with a son or a daughter.

Kate's biggest accomplishment came In September 2015 when her first full-length studio album, “Fusion" was released. Kate decided on this title because the album is a blend or “fusion” of Soft Rock, Country, and elements of Blues and Jazz. Once the title was decided, she and Nick Palmer of Real Feel Recording collaborated to write the song, “Fusion" to correlate with the title. This is a fun and quirky bluesy kind of song that just pops.  It was then followed with “I Feel the Rain,” a more introspective tug at your heart tune. Also Included in this album are two songs that Kate performs from songwriters, Sean Ryan with “Our Next Moment and Ben Gorski with “Identity.”   She had an amazing backup singer, Mikey Chinchilla for both of these songs that added that special touch.  The musicians on the album are Nick Palmer, Will Snyder, Phil Mango & Jacob Aicher from Real Feel Recording in Casselberry Florida where the album was also recorded, produced and engineered. This album is a nice blend of originals and various covers delivered in a very smooth captivating style...each song 'Pops' and pulls you in.  Kate’s voice with its many colors has a sincere, sultry and personal quality that resonates throughout her music. The songs Kate wrote, covered and chose for her album have resulted in an amazingly captivating eclectic album that reinforces her emergence as a one-of-a-kind, passionate artist. This album really does have something for just about everyone. Check out all the album songs by clicking on the Store tab here.

Kate has created videos for all of her songs. You can view them under the video tab here or on Youtube under 'Kathleen Cartwright.'  She shares, "I just love the whole creation process of making and editing videos...love it as much as singing and writing songs.

Kate's music also has been a way for her to give back to her community.  She volunteerd for many years at Orlando Union Rescue Mission helping the homeless before relocating. Today, she continues to donate to the organization.

As an established songwriter, Kate is a member of ASCAP, American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers.

Kate shares, “I don’t aspire to fame with my music. Singing feeds my soul and brings me inner peace. If it can bring enjoyment and also comfort to others if for only a few moments, then I know I have achieved success. I give thanks always to the Lord above for giving me the opportunity to do something I love."
